Driving Instruction that lets you spend less, as our driving lessons are tailored to your needs!
Whether you are learning to drive to enhance your CV or you are tired of waiting around for unreliable public transport, we can help you every step of the way. Our professional driving instructors provide an exceptional level of tuition with prices and packages to suit every budget. You may prefer to stick to the more traditional way of learning to drive and take regular weekly lessons or you may choose to take all your lessons in one go. Whichever way you choose, we can provide all the tuition and support you need.
That support goes further than simply teaching you the basics of how to drive a car! Our helpful administration staff will help answer questions and find an instructor who fits your needs and is in your location. Our instructors have been trained to the highest level and meet all the industry requirements. They were learners too you know so completely understand just how nervous some pupils get. We will put you at your ease and make this experience as enjoyable as possible.
We can provide driving lessons in both manual and automatic cars and we have both male and female driving instructors. This is why we believe we can provide the perfect package for you. Our driving tuition doesn’t solely centre on teaching you the mechanics of starting and moving the car, it’s rather more than that. We tackle other areas of driving which we think are imperative like hazard perception and observational techniques. These ‘added extras’ if you like are vital for keeping you, your passengers and other road users safe at all times.
The Transport Research Laboratory claims that most drivers only concentrate for 25% of their driving time. That is very scary! That means that 3 out of 4 drivers are not paying attention. Getting distracted is a very dangerous thing as it’s in those moments of distraction where hazards are not noticed and your perception is impaired. If you spot a distracted driver, you may have taken the first step in removing yourself from danger.
Help me Pass is committed to raising awareness of dangers to all of our pupils. We try and help you familiarise yourself with the roads you’ll likely to be travelling on and those you may encounter in your practical test. We can help with the theory test too and in that test are questions which test your hazard perception. We have highlighted some local roads and junctions that have a high number of accidents occurring on them. This is not meant to worry you and certainly doesn’t mean you should avoid them at all, it is simply to alert you to them and go steady if or when you encounter them.
It will be of no surprise that by far the most accidents happen in the centre. The roads leading into the centre are very busy and therefore accidents happen where people take risks or are not concentrating. The Penn Road is particularly tricky and there are many accidents along this stretch of road. Where Penn Road meets Marston Road / Oaklands Road causes a lot of problems as does the Penn Road Island.
Dudley Road (A459) and the St. George’s Ring Road have many accidents logged there.
The Chapel Ash Island is another large traffic island with lots of heavy traffic. You must take care when approaching this area.
A little bit out of Wolverhampton centre itself, another couple of particular hotspots are the Bilston Road (A41) and The Black Country Route (A463). There are many accidents along these routes so please take care when travelling. Make sure you get in the correct lane.
