    her.

  • Becky (Monday, March 21 16 01:34 pm GMT)

Kul was amazing with helping me pass first time, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

  • Robyn (Friday, February 26 16 02:14 pm GMT)

I passed with Kul around 13 months ago with only 1 minor after roughly 4 months of lessons and then went on to do my Pass Plus with her. She was my second instructor and when i came to her i was a
very nervous driver but after a short time i noticed a huge improvement. She pushes you to achieve, patient, friendly, professional but importantly you can have a laugh with her which puts you at
ease. I would, and do, 100% recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. I can't put into words how amazing she was with me and how much confidence she gave me behind the wheel after a very shakey start
with another instructor. Choosing Kul at Andy's 1st was probably one of the best decisions ive ever made, i couldnt have done it without her! Thanks Kul! x

  • Sadiya Ali (Tuesday, January 12 16 11:48 am GMT)

I passed my test first time with Kul, she's an excellent instructor who works together with you to find your weak points and helps you to correct them. She is a friendly person and puts you at ease
when you are driving. She pushes you to do better in order for you to be 100% confident in your driving. I would recommend her to anyone as I believe that without her help I could never have done it!
    Thanks Kul x

  • Rebecca Jones (Wednesday, November 18 15 10:03 pm GMT)

Having failed my test previously in Manchester with an alternative driving instructor; I needed a different instructor with an innovative approach that would allow me to pass my test promptly. Kul
was an excellent teacher who facilitated in helping me to achieve this by explaining everything explicitly so there were no issues with understanding. Learning to drive is an extremely challenging
experience, though Kul was very patient and accommodated for this. She certainly built my confidence which I had lost through failing my test, and her teaching efforts could not be more commendable.

  • danii mcrobb (Wednesday, November 18 15 09:30 am GMT)

I had kul teach me to drive and she was fantastic she took the time to work on areas that I wasn't perfect on and she broke every step down so it was easy to understand thank you

  • Nikkie Freebury (Monday, November 09 15 07:26 pm GMT)

Kul was my driving instructor. During my time with her she made me feel confident when I needed encouragement and always made sure I was doing the best I could. This shows by my first time pass with
only two minors. She helped me transition from a motorbike to a car with ease. Her relaxing approach to teaching definitely helps towards the ultimate goal.

  • Connor Barnes (Monday, November 09 15 07:15 pm GMT)

Amazing Driving instructor, Kul worked very hard with me but we got there in the end. I would definitely recommend Kul to everyone who is looking to learn how to drive. I felt very comfortable from
day one with Kul, Very modest person who made me feel very confident in a car, I give Kul 100% credit for me passing my driving test I couldn't have done it without Kul.

  • chris walker (Thursday, October 22 15 08:24 am BST)

I have just passed my test 1st time with kul, she works so hard to help you, and makes it all so easy, in my opinion there is no one better in telford to teach you to drive, plus the car you learn in
is amazing, anyone in telford looking to start driving don't look anywhere else the best is here.

  • Jason Williamson (Tuesday, October 20 15 12:17 pm BST)

Very friendly driving instructor doesn't make you feel on edge when driving and brings the best out of her pupils, Kul made me feel very confident with my driving and didn't put me down only gave me
advice and in a nice manor without feeling like I had been told off. Amazing driving instructor would recommend Kul to any learner.

There are many different ways you can choose to learn to drive. Some people prefer the traditional, more methodical way of learning; regular lessons. These can be taken, usually weekly, to help spread the cost of your lessons. The average number of lessons required to pass a test are between 40 and 50 (hours) but that differs depending on the amount of previous experience you have or not. We are all different and learn in different ways and at different speeds. Weekly lessons will mean it will take a longer time to pass but as mentioned, this is perfect if you want to spread the cost.

The other way to learn is to take one of our intensive courses. These do exactly what it says on the tin! You learn everything you would do if you took regular lessons but you bunch all the lessons together and take them in one go – usually over the period of a week or so. It means that you will be driving all day, every day for the required amount of hours your driving instructor deems necessary. This sounds quite intense – it is! That’s why the course is called an intensive course. You will literally have to eat, sleep and breathe driving for that set time. This type of course is ideal if you want or need to learn quickly. You could be learning and passing your test within a week – simply book a week off work to do it. Lots of our pupils take time out of their educational holidays to learn in readiness for going to college or university later in the year.

However you choose to take your lessons, you can be assured that you are being taught by some of the best driving instructors in the country. We have only the best instructors working for us and they provide an exceptional standard of tuition. They are kind, helpful and professional at all times and are willing to pick you up and drop you off at a time and a place that is convenient to you.

Not only will we provide you with all the skills necessary to become a safe and confident driver, we will help you through your theory test too. Our instructors are passionate about what they do and are always looking for people who are eager to realise their dream of driving and owning their own car. They want to help with all aspects of driving and are fully committed to helping you stay safe at all times. They will share with you observation techniques and hazard perception tips which will help when you’re out there driving on your own. It sounds a bit strange but here at Andy1st we analyse data that shows us if there any accident hotspots locally. This helps our instructors and our pupils in a variety of ways. Our instructors can focus attention on those troublesome areas and help pupils practice them to build up their confidence. We don’t want you to avoid these junctions or areas, quite the opposite! We want you to tackle them to get used to them and be confident when you approach them. Becoming familiar with them and having the confidence to make decisions at them will ultimately keep you safe.

This is by no means an exhaustive list but here a few areas around Telford to watch out for.

Firstly, Greyhound Hill and its approach onto Greyhound Roundabout over the Queensway (A442) need to be approached with care. There have been quite a few accidents in this area. Also, Stafford Street at the junction of Priorslee Road is littered with collisions of all types, slight and serous. Telford Way (A5) and the Holyhead Road at the island of Priorslee Avenue is another stretch to look out for. It is imperative to know which lane you need and be very conscious of how much and how fast traffic is moving around that island.  Queensway (A442) and the junctions with Stafford Park 12 (A464) and Queen Elizabeth Avenue can also be a bit troublesome as can the island at the A5 over Queensway and Hollingsgate.

Please pay attention when approaching all of these areas and stay safe.
