I just want to say I had Pradip as my driving Instructor due to being let down at last minute by another instructor. I passed on 12th August 2016 in Hinckley, I couldn't be happier, felt amazing,
Pradip you were the best instructor I could ask for, so patient and realy calmed my nerves! Thank you again.... :)

  • B Gluszek (Sunday, July 10 16 11:23 am BST)

Great experience. Pradip is very polite, patient and detail oriented. Great instructor! I've passed my Taxi Test with only 1 minor. Thank you! I will recommend whenever I can.

Just wanted to say that Pradip has been a great instructor for me and I passed my test first time. He was patient and spent time focusing on the areas that I felt less comfortable with. He was great
at fitting in extra lessons at short notice and always on time. Really appreciate the time he spent teaching me manoeuvres and roundabouts! Would recommend him to other people. So happy to have
    passed!

Book cheap intensive driving courses Leicester now!

Learning to drive is a very exciting adventure. The thrill of learning how to start and manouevre a car yourself is something you take for granted when you have passed your test but the initial experience of making that car move for the first time is exhilarating. There are many ways to learn to drive and many different packages you can choose from. Some people prefer to stick to the traditional method of taking regular lessons once or twice a week, others prefer to do it all in one go and bunch the lessons together and take an intensive course. Whatever your preferred way of learning is, you need to learn how to spot potential dangers and stay safe on our busy roads today.

We understand that you may be nervous and a little worried about learning new skills but your experienced driving instructor will put you at your ease and gently take you through the process step by step. Our instructors were all learners too and so they completely understand the anxieties you may have. Driving in areas that are unfamiliar to you is certainly something that a lot of our pupils find unnerving. Fear not! Your instructor will guide you safely through.

They will teach you everything you need to know about driving – and more. We are committed to ensuring that not only the basics are taught but also that we have prepared you effectively for life out on the road alone. You will not have your instructor guiding you through junctions or the comfort of the dual controls. It’ll be you, your knowledge and your excellent observation skills that will keep you safe.  Our driving lessons Leicester will help you do this.

Your confidence in decision making is key. Knowing you have the safest amount of time to pull out of a junction for example is down to you and your acute hazard perception skills. You will be tested on those skills in your theory test but you must be prepared practically as well. In our endeavour to keep our pupils safe, we have identified a number of local accident hotspots. This has not been done in an attempt to worry you or zap your confidence – quite the opposite actually. This has been done so that you can familiarise yourself with these areas and perhaps practice more around them building your confidence as you do it. Also, by highlighting these areas we are encouraging you to apply a bit more care and perception skills allowing you to approach with caution yet confidence.

Busy roads / junctions to look out for

The main Narborough Road that runs into Leicester is notoriously busy. You will need to concentrate very hard when driving along this road as there are many tricky junctions, traffic islands and traffic signal operated junctions. Particular attention should be paid to the junction where Narborough Road crosses with Upperton Road as over the last 7 years (the time our data spans) there have been a continually high number of accidents / collisions.

Another one to look out for is the A6 St. Margaret’s Way at the island where it meets the A594 Burley Flyover and Vaughan Way.

There are many areas to look out for and apply extra caution but the third and final one we are highlighting is the Humberstone Road traffic island where it meets St. Matthew’s Way. This particular island had a high number of accidents and unfortunately this carried on along that stretch of road including the junctions at both Kent Street and Needham Street.

Please ensure you apply extra care when driving in these areas and if you live close to them, perhaps ask your instructor for familiarisation tuition.
