  • Renz (Monday, August 22 16 05:42 pm BST)

I needed to start taking driving lessons again because my theory test certificate is expiring at 26th August and I managed to contact Kiran at 26th April. When he knew my situation, he told me
straight away to try and book a test because Bolton Test Centre might be fully booked. Luckily enough, I did that and managed to book a test at 18 August!

So I had about 3 months to prepare for it and since I work whole day on weekdays, I can only do Saturdays and Sundays. I thought it wasn't going to be enough but thanks to Kiran's thorough and
friendly lessons, after only doing the first month, he already told me we can reduce our lessons to just 1 day a week. He even told me not to take any more lessons at some point cause I didn't need
it! To be honest, I thought I needed more lessons but I passed first try with only 4 faults so clearly, he was right!

Anyway, Kiran was always on time and really patient with me. He made sure that I understand and able to do stuff like manoeuvres before the test which was really great! I definitely recommend Kiran
if you are looking to pass your driving test on first try! Definitely one of the best driving instructor in Bolton!

  • Nayla Thompson (Monday, May 16 16 08:34 pm BST)

Having moved from Dubai, with years of experience driving exclusively automatic gear cars, I needed an experienced instructor to teach me how to drive a manual gear car, drive on the other side of
the road and learn the British traffic rules and regulations. And the major challenge was helping me 'unlearn' my old habits. Kiran was the perfect instructor and coach, he offered support in every
way possible. Highlighting my mistakes constructively then correcting them, helping me understand how my driving affects other road users and more importantly making sure I was 100% ready for my
practical test. Within a couple of months, I progressed from stalling the car and struggling with my gears to complete confidence and (as my examiner said) high driving standards. Thank you so much
Kiran for rising to the challenge! Passed from the first trial. If you are looking for an instructor to guide you along the way and give you the confidence you need to pass the dreaded test, Kiran is
    the man.

  • Florian (Tuesday, January 05 16 03:28 pm GMT)

I contacted Kiran and I needed to pass my driving test soon as possible, so I was driving in my country and only took 10 hours with Kiran and passed my test first time with 0 faults I'm very please
about the result and highly recommend Kiran as an excellent driving instructor.

  • Lauren (Tuesday, December 15 15 08:55 pm GMT)

I would like to say a massive thank you to Kiran for helping me pass my driving test first time. He was incredibly patient, especially as I was not the most confident of drivers and was very
encouraging and friendly throughout my lessons. He never failed to answer any questions I had and helped me to develop my confidence in all aspects of driving. I would not hesitate to recommend Kiran
to anyone wishing to learn how to drive.

  • Ryan McCue (Monday, September 21 15 09:28 pm BST)

I have delayed learning to drive for many years and finally got around to it at the age of 31, and on a limited timescale of only five months to get from complete beginner to having passed my test at
the first time of trying. Kiran said that this was possible when I first contacted him but after the first lesson it looked like it would be a real struggle! I was totally useless to start with but
with help and encouragement from Kiran over the course of the 4/5 month period I progressed from being a woeful, nervous driver to passing first time with only two minor faults. I think the main
thing that helped me is that Kiran has a nice balance between pointing out errors when they are being made and making it clear what the errors are and how to rectify them properly, and helping
confidence levels by being very complimentary when things are being done well which basically helped a lot with my confidence. Being a cynical person I've never really been convinced that I would
pass but Kiran constantly told me that I would and was proven right. In addition to that his learner car is such a good car to learn in and really made things easier in comparison to other cars I
have driven! It was vital that I passed in the timescale that I gave as I am leaving the UK for a while so only had one shot at passing but with Kiran's help that was all I needed in the end! He
comes highly recommended by me to any learner drivers in the Bolton area, you won't regret contacting him!

  • Mubashir (Monday, August 24 15 02:26 pm BST)

Many many thanks to Kiran which he guide me through out with excellent driving skills and also he teaches me through out with every task of driving. I worked very hard with Kiran and he build up my
confidence level high with superb driving skills. I passed my driving test with first atempt as it was very important for me for my new graduate job and Kiran help me all throughout it and I got
minimum amount of time but Kiran put his all effort on driving lessons and hence I have passed my driving lesson.once again thanks Kiran for being a superb and fantastic driving teacher.

  • Vlad (Wednesday, August 19 15 07:27 pm BST)

Kiran was very professional, dedicated, friendly and patient. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere during lessons was just as important to me as his punctuality and ability to work around my busy
schedule. Instructions and demonstrations were easy to follow and any mistakes and the ways to avoid them were thoroughly explained. He made very good use of visual aids, ranging from diagrams, to
dashboard camera which enables him to review mistakes at any convenient time during or after the lesson and help to eliminate them in future. I was advised on optimal duration and frequency of
lessons which helped to speed up learning process. As I was making progress I was involved in making decisions on structure of lessons in order develop parts of driving I wasn’t fully confident with
even if it may have seemed otherwise.
Kiran’s friendly and encouraging way of teaching made the whole learning experience very pleasant. I would highly recommend Kiran for his professional, friendly and reliable service.

  • Natasha (Thursday, August 13 15 12:10 pm BST)

I would like to say a massive thank you to Kiran for getting me through my driving test not only to be able to drive to a test standard but driving confidently and independently. Kiran did put me at
ease a lot of the times when I was under pressure and went out of his way to be able to help on areas I wasn't confident with. He expects a lot higher standards for not only being able to pass your
test which made it very easy for me to pass my test. Even though he put my through my test I wanted more lessons to make sure I passed the test but he had confidence I would do it and advised I
didn't need anymore lessons before the test. He is very trustworthy and honest in what he says and could be trusted 100%. I would definitely recommend Kiran to anybody learning to drive and I believe
without him I don't think I would of had a license. I was planning on giving up but he encouraged me to keep going and again I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you.

  • Abbey Joynt (Tuesday, July 07 15 02:50 pm BST)

I would like to say thanks to Kiran.. my previous instructor wasn't committed to get me to my test after I'd booked it and had to cancel it.since doing lessons with Kiran within a month I have passed
my test first time. he has been calm and patient and committed to get me to a good standard of driving. Kiran has boosted my confidence and made me feel at ease including when we got to the test
centre. I was booked in for the 5th August for my test and was able to bring that forward to the 7th July . I can't thank Kiran enuf for the encouragement and patience he has demonstrated. Very
pleased with his service and would recommend him to everyone I no

  • Chris Lilley (Monday, July 06 15 05:42 pm BST)

I would like to thank Kiran for everything he has done to get me through my test and now driving around getting to places and being very confident behind a steering wheel. He was very helpful and
patient in teaching me how to drive. I would definitely recommend Kiran to anyone wishing to learn to drive.
There were times that I had bad lessons and Kiran made me feel at ease and was very encouraging

  • Paul White (Wednesday, June 24 15 05:24 pm BST)

I needed to start lessons this year and gave Kiran the task of getting me from absolutely begginer to passing within 4 months (before my 1st baby was born) with lessons only on weekends, no pressures
then! Kiran didn't mess around and got me driving and understanding everything I was doing in a quick and efficient manner. I found Kiran a great instructor who I could chat and get along with as a
boring instructor without character just wouldn't have got through to me as I need someone I can engage with. Kiran very quickly honed my driving skills to pass 1st time a couple of weeks before my
baby was born which is impressive as he had to deal with what we called my "death grip" on the wheel, plus the fact I'm 31, but it seems you can teach an old dog new tricks afterall. Even after I'd
passed kiran got incontact to check on my new baby arrival. I couldn't recommend Kiran as an instructor highly enough, and I've already been doing so to family and friends. So if your looking to
    start driving he's your man.

  • Lawrence (Sunday, June 21 15 10:58 am BST)

Hello, my name is Lawrence and my driving instructor was Kieran, he was very fast and effective in helping me to pass my test, his prices were reasonable, he is very professional in the work he
carried out, and helpful in explaining how to do the manoeuvres of the vehicle, he gave me a first time pass with the knowledge he had given me

  • Giulietta Cooper (Saturday, June 20 15 09:39 am BST)

Despite having a full licence for 20yrs, I hadn't driven for the last 19yrs!
My son decided a great present for my 50th birthday would be refresher lessons and eventually I agreed with him. I almost cancelled the first lesson as I was so nervous about getting back in the
driving seat but I am not one to back out of a challenge and when the instructor arrived, I got in the car.
From the very first lesson, Kiran put me at ease. He brought back to light what I had previously learned but also updated me on things that I dont recall learning.
In a short space of time, my confidence returned because of the trust built, with Kiran always being encouraging and positive in helping me to attain my goal of being a confident, successful
My husband is now happy to sit in the passenger seat and I have gained more independence.
A massive THANK YOU to Kiran!

Staying safe on our roads is becoming more and more difficult mainly due to the increasing number of vehicles on our roads. There are more cars, vans and bikes than ever and cars go a lot faster than they ever used to. Many of our large companies and distributors use the road network too which means motorways and dual carriageways are always full of vehicles.

We are committed to ensuring we provide only the best driving tuition and included in that is expert guidance on how to stay safe on our roads. We will concentrate on delivering excellent hazard perception training and learning new and valuable observational skills. All of our instructors are dedicated to providing outstanding service right from the start of your learning journey. They offer a personal service and like to get to know you first. That way, they can tailor make training package that suits your experience, your personality and the style in which you learn.

Whether you choose to learn the traditional way of taking regular lessons or you decide to take an intensive course you will receive fantastic support and instruction at every step. Overall, we want you to enjoy your lessons and embrace the freedom being able to drive gives you. However, most people who have learned to drive, taken and passed a test will tell you that the real driving starts when you’re out there on your own negotiating traffic signals and making safety decisions on your own. This is why it is so important that you get the right input and guidance when you’re taking your lessons.

A major contributory factor of many accidents is distraction. When drivers are distracted either by pedestrians, passengers, electronic devices or other issues they lose their concentration and their control over their actions. You need to be alert and focussed when driving – that is what will keep you safe on the roads. Our instructors have excellent local knowledge and will guide you around the roads in your area impeccably. There will be times when your nerves will get the better of you and the unfamiliar layout of some roads will send you a bit panicky. Have no fear, our instructors will go over anything you’re not sure of and make a plan to revisit certain junctions or roads to improve your confidence.

To help them in this task we have analysed some collision data to help us identify tricky areas or junctions. We are not trying to scare you in any way; we are simply highlighting things that need extra care and attention. By having this useful information your instructor can carefully and calmly take you round these routes especially if they are likely to be approached in your test. Equally, when you’ve passed your test and you are driving on your own, you can remember to apply extra care and caution.

There are a high number of collisions along the Wigan Road, A676 especially where it turns into Deane Road. This stretch is particularly prone to accidents but where those roads meet Lanchester Drive and Harris Street are listed as having a large number of bumps.

Another area to look out for is in Haulgh on the A666 St. Peter’s Way and A579 Bradford Street. Where the roads cross seems to be a very prominent hot spot for accidents.

There were a notable number of accidents on the B6202 College Way and Derby Street A579. In addition the B6205 where it meets Deansgate is another tricky spot. These roads are fairly close to the centre, the University and the Town Hall. This may suggest that there are a lot of visitors to the area that may not be familiar with the roads and their layouts. That is why we have alerted you to them so that you can apply more care and when you are in those areas.
